Musical Minds offers lessons bespoke to school budgets and needs.

With Musical Minds, schools have the choice of either whole group, instrumental lessons, or both.

Whole Group

Class teaching to support your school in meeting the national music curriculum.

Priced according to each school’s budget and needs. Schools can choose to spread lessons across year groups and terms in whichever way is most affordable.

Schools can choose from a range of instruments, including samba drums, ukulele, keyboards, glockenspiel, BoomWhackers, recorders, percussion singing and many more.

Digital floor book: easily log pupil learning journeys on line, by storing lesson plans and outcomes, videos and photos, organised and ready for Ofsted inspections.

All instruments are provided by Musical Minds.

Instrumental

Lessons in pairs for pupils that want to progress further on their chosen instrument.

Musical Minds interactive assembly introduces pupils to the instruments they can chose.

Parents sign up and pay through our website for pupils to have Guitar, Drum or Piano lessons. Freeing schools from admin.

Our online pupil dashboard helps support learning with play along videos, termly reports and timetable scheduling.

Online analytics allow us to track pupil progress and update our syllabus accordingly.

Pupil progress is enhanced through our gold, silver and bronze awards levels, allowing pupils to play together in bands and receive certificates, increasing music visibility across your school.

Case Studies

Raeburn Primary School

Goal: Provide whole class tuition across a two-form entry school with progression pathways to a range of instrumental lessons.

Outcome: We provide four hours of whole group tuition every Thursday for years three to six, rotating on a half termly basis, allowing each class to receive three half terms of music tuition every year. We cover twelve different modules on various instruments. Additionally, we provide instrumental lessons on guitar drums and piano, with over 40 pupils progressing on their chosen instrument.

St. Bridget’s Primary School

Goal: Provide whole group tuition to two year four classes and add new instruments to their already large instrumental lesson options.

Outcome: Musical Minds attends the school for two hours a week to provide lessons for both year 4 classes, during which they learn six different instruments and modules across the six half terms of lessons. We also provide instrumental lessons on Guitar and Piano which were previously not available at the school, with over 70 pupils progressing on their chosen instrument.

St. Georges Primary School

Goal: Provide whole class tuition for years three to five, within a relatively low budget.

Outcome: We attend St. Georges once a week for an hour, during which years 3-5 each receive two half terms of lesson and learn six different instruments across their three years of lessons.
